Brit Awards 2015 LIVE: Winners, performances and red carpet fashion from the ceremony-

The ceremony will air on ITV from 8pm and a host of big names including Madonna and Taylor Swift taking to the stage

The Brit Awards are back with a bang and it is set to be another memorable night of explosive performances and big winners.

Kanye West is rumoured to be taking to the stage and it's already looking like a stacked show from top to bottom with Ant and Dec hosting.

Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift will also share the spotlight at London's O2 Arena this evening.

All the fun will be shown on ITV at 8pm, while outside the UK and Ireland it will be streamed live on YouTube across the world.

It's the biggest night on the music calendar and a host of the most famous and renowned names in the charts this year will battle it out.

Sam Smith, Paolo Nutini, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, One Direction and Ella Henderson are among the nominees - check them all out HERE.

Rebecca Ferguson looks glum

Rebecca Ferguson failed to raise a smile on the red carpet and we're not too sure about this gown.

The singer wore a floor length red patterned dress which sadly hit a bum note and chose a small black clutch and matching heels.

Paloma Faith is stunning!

Paloma Faith has pulled out all of the stops tonight and looks incredible on the red carpet.

The star, who is nominated at the ceremony tonight, has opted for a very glam Armani Prive black dress covered in red sparkles and netting.

Ed Sheeran's girlfriend

Ed's gorgeous girlfriend Athina Andrelos is wearing some pretty spectacular jewellery tonight.

The dark-haired stunner shared a snap on Instagram of a huge necklace she's chosen for the ceremony where she will support her beau who is nominated and performing.

 

She wrote next to the snap: "Wearing the coolest necklace in the whole, entire world. Jack du Rose is a genius."

Clean Bandit on the way

Clean Bandit are on their way to the ceremony and look pretty nervous tbh!

It's a big night for the band who uploaded a pic of them travelling to the ceremony on Instagram, along with the caption: "Brothers on the way to the @britawards excited!!!!! @jack_fdt @lukepatterson."

The double Brit Awards nominees hit back at Kasabian, after they expressed their anger at being snubbed for a gong this year.

The band's guitarist Serge Pizzorno, 34, told us: "It's an outrage. Clean Bandit don't even write their own tunes."

Err, yes they do. The electronic quartet's Grace Chatto brands Serge's rant "weird" and wonders if the rockers are just jealous about their Best British Group and Single nods.

The 28-year-old cellist told 3am: "It’s so weird and odd. We do write our own music. It's just so funny that he would say that.

"Maybe he just assumed that because we’ve had this hit with Rather Be it’s the sort of pop that has millions of writers behind."

Ed Sheeran arrives!

We weren't expected Ed Sheeran to be the first on the red carpet - he's obviously eager to get the night started!

The Brit nominee is looking very dapper at the bash, ditching his usual comfy clothes for a smart suit jacket and shirt, although he's still wearing trainers - of course.

He was filmed stepping out of his chauffeur-driven silver car and beamed from ear to ear as he waved at waiting photographers.

Red carpet prep

Mirror Celeb's reporter Zoe Shenton is on the red carpet at London's O2 Arena waiting for the stars to arrive.



We're excited to see who will be stopping for the paps and what they'll all be wearing - will Madonna grace us with her presence before the show.

Here's a snap of the red carpet and thankfully IT'S NOT RAINING which means nobody will have to worry about their hair extensions getting wet or their gowns trailing in puddles. Phew.

Kim Kardashian wearing a jumpsuit

Kim Kardashian WILL be joining hubby Kanye West at the Brits tonight and she's revealed what she's wearing.



A fan put on Twitter: "Can't wait to see what Kim wears tonight" to which she replied: "I'm wearing a sexy jumpsuit by British designer Julien MacDonald."

Kanye is giving a performance at the Brits of a new track so exclusive that only SEVEN people were allowed to see him rehearse it.

He kept organisers waiting until the last minute before confirming he would showcase the song from his new album.

A source said: "He wants the first time everyone hears it to be special."

Twitter predictions

New Twitter data, based on the number of mentions of the acts in relation to the awards, shows a few names are set to win - that is, according to social media users.

But do you agree?

According to the results, One Direction will take the Best British Group crown, ahead of runner up Coldplay, while Paolo Nutini will win Best British Male Solo Artist.

Meanwhile the data states Paloma Faith is favourite in the British Female Solo Artist category, and Taylor Swift will take International Female Solo Artist ahead of Sia.

Brit nominees

Along with Sam Smith being up for a LOT of awards this evening - Ed Sheeran is expected to be another big winner.

The red-headed star, who is set to play three shows at Wembley Stadium this summer, has four nods - giving Sam stiff competition in the British Male Solo Artist, British Single, Video of the Year and Album of the Year categories.

One Direction have received two nominations this year - for Best British Group and Video of the Year - although they won't be attending as they're on tour, while newcomer FKA Twigs - who is performing at the nominations show - has been recognised for her amazing year in the British Female Solo and British Breakthrough Act categories.

Sam Smith getting made up

It looks like Sam Smith is having more make-up slapped on than Kim Kardashian for the bash tonight.

The star posted a selfie while putting his face on ahead of his performance tonight and clearly excited about the ceremony.

Not only will he take to the stage to sing, he's expected to pick up at least one award as he's nominated for MasterCard British Album of the Year, British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single and British Artist Video of the Year. Wowsa.

Stars getting their beauty sleep

So far a number of A-listers have hyped the event, with some holding off on the preparation until the last minute.

In particular Nick Grimshaw shared a picture of himself taking a midday snooze only hours before he's set to appear.

The snap posted to the Radio 1 presenter's Instagram showed him trying to catch 40 winks.

It was captioned: "Getting ready for The Brits. Not really...lying in bed and taking selfies."
