The Confederation of African Football has ordered Nigeria representative s, Dolphins FC to remain in Tunis until a decision is taken on their contentious CAF Confederation Cup first round, first leg affair with Tunisian giants Club Africain.

In a mail received from the Deputy Director (CAF Competitions), Khaled Nassar on Monday evening, CAF instructed that the Garden City boys stay put in the Tunisian capital until a decision by the Confederation is communicated to the NFF.

“Reference to the above mentioned match which was initially scheduled on 14th March 2015; we would like to request your team Dolphin to stay in Tunis until a decision is reached and communicated to you,” wrote Nassar.

Dolphins FC were to play Club Africain in Tunis on Saturday by 3pm, and the team arrived in the city at 1pm aboard an Emirates Airline flight from Dubai, only for immigration authorities to take two hours to issue the team entry visa into the country.

Afterwards, there was no bus to convey the team to the stadium, and when one eventually came, it drove the delegation in a circle round Tunis and they got to the stadium at 4pm, to be told by the Ethiopian match officials that they had been walked over.
