Eagles’ boss can’t continue to overlook Man City star – Ndubuoke

Nigerian teenage international, Kelechi Iheanacho, yesterday underscored with his performance, why Super Eagles manager, Sunday Oliseh can not continue to ignore him as he (Oliseh) settles down to his new job.

Iheanacho who made his EPL debut a fortnight ago in the game against Watford was on fire yesterday as he banged in the only goal that saw City continue it’s 100% start to the season with an away victory over Crystal Palace.

Iheanacho who just like in the game against Watford came in as a late second half sub stabbed home his first senior goal after Samir Nasri’s shot was saved.

Oliseh, it would be noted, did not look Iheanacho’s way in the game against Tanzania preferring instead to call up four Russia-based players. Former Nigeria Football Association (NFA) board member, Fan Ndubuoke moments after yesterday’s game said Oliseh can’t continue to overlook Iheanacho who he noted is ripe for Eagles’ shirt.

The player who was literally on cloud nine last night described his first EPL goal as “great”.

While Man City continued its fine run, Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho’s woes were compounded as the Blues were massacred 3-1 by Everton.

Arsenal on its part, recorded the first home win of the season as goals from Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud saw Stoke leaving the Emirate pointless.

Walcott opened the scoring in the first half when he chased a long ball over the defence from Mesut Ozil before firing low beyond Jack Butland.

Substitute Giroud sealed victory late on with a header.
