Apprentice star April Jackson enjoyed 'secret four-month romance' with Usain Bolt

The 2008 Miss Jamaica and Olympic sprinter are believed to have dated back in 2013

Apprentice beauty April Jackson reportedly enjoyed a secret four-month romance with Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt.

April, 26, is said to have dated Usain, 29, back in 2013 after meeting through a mutual pal.

“They were introduced in 2012 but it wasn’t until the following year they got closer and started to date," a friend told The Sun.

“It was more than a fling and they developed feelings for each other. It was tricky because of Usain’s busy schedule.

“Whenever he was in London they enjoyed going to clubs and having fun."

The pair are believed to have eventually called time on their relationship due to Usain's work commitments.

April was crowned Miss Jamaica back in 2008 and now lives in London where she owns a boutique.

She has also founded an event management company and a children's charity.

Speaking about her stint on The Apprentice she previously said: "When I want something, I want it now.

"But clearly life, sometimes, things take time - and I'm working on that.

"But I'm Jamaican. We come first, we win on the track and we will win in the boardroom."
