Back on? Khloe and Lamar look very cosy at Kanye's album launch

The former couple looked happy and relaxed to be in each other's company as the NBA star made his first public appearance since October

Lamar Odom made his first public appearance since his near-fatal overdose last October at Kanye West's Life of Pablo listening party at New York's Madison Square Garden on Thursday.

During the show, the towering 36-year-old basketball player stayed close to Khloe Kardashian's side.

At one stage, the pair were snapped giggling together as Khloe, who looked stunning in a nude all-in-one, whispered in her estranged husband's ear.


Later on in the evening they were pictured posing for photos backstage, and Lamar also got into the family photo which featured the five sisters along with Kanye, Kris and Caitlyn.

The pictures mark the first time the former couple have made a public appearance together in years.

However, Khloe later took to Twitter to put an end to rumours questioning if they could have rekindled their romance.

"God forbid exes are cordial right?!?! People should praise kindness. Not question it," she wrote.

Meanwhile, it's believed the former NBA star was determined to attend the listening party to show his "love and support" for rapper Kanye because of how much Kanye has helped with his recovery.

According to TMZ, the 38-year-old rapper was a frequent visitor to the former NBA star's hospital bedside, where he would play rough cuts of his new music.

And Lamar began remembering some of the specific lyrics, in one of the first signs his condition was improving.

Kanye personally ushered Lamar to his seat at the show, where he then sat with Khloe and the rest of the family.

The previous day, the'Kocktails with Khloe star and her spouse had flown from Los Angeles to New York by private jet.

A source told People magazine: "Khloé and Lamar made the decision together to fly to NYC. It's a fun trip for Lamar. They both seemed excited. Khloé will make sure that he is taken care of

"For Lamar, it's very important that he keeps regaining his old life. This will motivate him so he is able to keep focusing and work hard. Think of it as a reward.

"Flying on private jets across the country was his life before.

"Khloé is nothing but protective of Lamar. She would never jeopardise his health. It's very exciting that Lamar is getting back into his old world. No one deserves it more."
