This Spice Girls Reunion News Is the Saddest Thing You'll Hear All Day
Okay, Victoria Beckham, we get it—you're a busy woman. You have your fashion line, four kids to run after, treadmill desks to conquer, and a shirtless husband to tend to. Sure, the mogul admitted just recently that singing is not her forte, but for those of us whose adolescence coincided with the '90s, she was Posh Spicebefore she was "Victoria Beckham."
Which is why we were kind of devastated to hear the news that Beckham has "given her blessing" to the other four Spice Girls to do something without her, according to Melanie Chisholm (aka Mel C aka Sporty Spice). "We've talked about [a reunion]," she told The Daily Mail. "Victoria doesn't want to, which we completely understand. We're so proud of her and her incredible foray into fashion...The four of us could consider it maybe."
My Posh Spice Barbie might be collecting dust in my parents' attic, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to throw it out just yet, ya know? Sure, I kind of respect Beckham's reluctance, (and we have to acknowledge that the full group did indulge us with a reunion tour, and even a Victoria's Secret fashion show), but I do feel very nostalgic for that fivesome. Viva forever!
