The New Facebook DeepFace Can Identify Faces Just As You Do

DeepFace
Facebook has developed a new software that is able to recognize faces just as good as you can.
The software ominously called DeepFace can determine whether two photographed faces are of the same person with 97.25% practically of that of humans which only score slightly better on the same test: 97.53%
Based on information like the distance between the eyes, and from the nose to the eyes, Facebook’s existing software is already able to suggest friends to tag when you upload a photo. DeepFace, however, uses much more advanced technology, creating a 3D model of the photographed face, which it is able to rotate and compare with other images.

Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Facebook also aims to develop software that can decipher our moods through our status updates and comments.
