The star may have all the delicacies he could wish for in Hollywood, but he still loves a bit of good grub now and again too
Expensive taste?
He might be a Hollywood movie star worth an estimated £87million, but that doesn’t mean Brad Pitt has expensive taste.
The actor, 50, was spotted treating himself to a bargain £6.35 cheeseburger meal with chips on Tuesday night – at a Wimpy in Billericay, Essex. Glamorous.
Punters couldn’t believe it when he walked into the Billericay take-away at 8pm with three pals and some burly security guards.
As well as Brad’s cheeseburger meal, the actor ordered a £9.85 smokey barbecue burger with cheese, bacon and chips, a £2.95 classic cheeseburger and a £4.60 sausage, egg and chips meal. All washed down with fizzy pop. We also hear that Brad has a sweet tooth.
An insider tells us: “Brad was really polite and friendly to staff. He’s a fan of the Wimpy donuts after having them when he was filming World War Z here a few years ago, but sadly there weren’t any on Tuesday night.
“He is expected to come back later this week to pick some up.”

Let’s just hope he doesn’t over-indulge, otherwise he’ll have to do extra crunches to keep that six-pack of his. Dad-of-six Brad, who in the past was thought to be a vegetarian, is in Blighty filming the World War Z sequel at Hanningfield Reservoir in Essex.
He is clearly enjoying English culture as earlier in the evening, he and his posse sank pints in Billericay at the Red Lion, a traditional boozer. But the A-lister chose not to share a bag of nuts with locals over the bar and instead headed into a conference room so he could sip his bevvies in peace.
An onlooker tells us: “There was no fuss, Brad clearly just wanted to chill out after his day on set. He looked super casual and did his best to fit in.”
Brad’s trip to Wimpy is not his first sample of the UK’s, erm, culinary delights.
Last year his wife Angelina Jolie, 39, splashed out £180 at her hubby’s fave curry house in Richmond, South West London.
She now must be kicking herself... she could have saved herself a fortune at Wimpy.

An American volunteer cardiologist was shot dead in Pakistan on Monday, a member of his minority Ahmadi community said, in the latest attack on a group that says it is Muslim but whose religion is rejected by the state. Mehdi Ali Qamar had taken his wife, young son and a cousin to a graveyard in Punjab province at dawn to pray when he was shot, said Salim ud Din, a spokesperson for the Ahmadi community. "He came here just one or two days ago to work at our heart hospital, to serve humanity and for his country," Din said. "Two persons came on motorbikes. They shot 11 bullets in him." Qamar was born in Pakistan but moved abroad in 1996. He had returned to do voluntary work at a state-of-the-art heart hospital built by the Ahmadi community in the eastern town of Rabwah. Qamar, aged 50, moved to Columbus, Ohio, in the United States, where he founded an Ahmadi centre and raised funds for medical charities in Pakistan, Din said.
