Nicki Minaj Clarifies Her BET Awards Acceptance Speech & We’re Like Oh…

As much as I love Nicki Minaj (trust me my admiration runs deep) and everything she stands for, something isn’t quite right with her response to the uproar following her acceptance speech at the 2014 BET Awards. The “Pills N Potions” rapper was clearly throwing shade as she pretended to sip tea and blast fake rappers who don’t write their rhymes, but wants us to believe that she was really just defending the women rap game. Whether her words were aimed at Iggy or not, the blatant statement rocked the Internet.
“My point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it,” she said. “And it made me realize, I don’t care what anybody got to say. I’m going to do me,” she said. “And I hope and pray that BET continues to honor authenticity.”
Nicki attempted to clarify her acceptance speech on Twitter, saying:

Depp apparently accused his wife of cheating on him with Billy Bob Thornton back in 2015, but the actor has completely denied all allegations. 'Our Brand Is Crisis' star Billy Bob Thornton has branded the suggestion that he slept with Amber Heard during the production of their latest movie 'London Fields' as 'completely false' according to reports from TMZ . The story is that he 'never socialized with Amber off set, other than a cast dinner', and adds that he had no on-set contact with her either, other than in a professional capacity.
