Christina Aguilera reveals the name of her daughter



Major congrats to Christina Aguilera and her fiancé Matt Rutler - they welcomed their first child together at the weekend.

Xtina gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday 16 August, and it's reported that the 33-year-old had a C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.


Now, we're happy to say that the singer has now revealed the name, and it's gorgeous!


Christina tweeted: 'So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world.'

During her pregnancy, Christina posed nude for V magazine, showing off her amazing pregnancy body. "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store," she told the mag.

Christina Aguilera unleashed a double-whammy of good news at a Kuala Lumpar concert this weekend.


The singer confirmed she was pregnant and announced that she was having a baby girl on stage in Malaysia. Just Jared confirmed the news of the announcement.

Blimey! What a week it's been for Christina Aguilera. It's not even a week since she revealed her engagement to her boyfriend of three years, Matt Rutler. And now, well, the genie's out the bottle: she's pregnant with baby number two.


Even though Christina Aguilera is yet to comment on the pregnancy news, a source has told E! News that The Voice judge is expecting baby number two - her first child with Rutler.


The new baby will be a brother or sister to Christina's six-year-old son, Max Liron - the son she had with ex-husband, Jordan Bratman.


It looks like 2014 is set to be a pretty magical year for the loved-up couple, who met on the set of Xtina's 2010 film Burlesque, where Rutler was working as a production assistant.


A wedding to plan, AND a nursery to decorate - congrats, guys!
