Sad news for Britney Spears - she and her boyfriend David Lucado have split after dating for a year and half, her rep confirms.
And if you want further proof, she tweeted: "Ahhhh the single life!"

According to TMZ, the 32-year-old split from David reportedly because of a video that is being shopped around that shows David making out with another woman in someone's living room.
We have no idea if this is true, but we DO know that Britney will have a queue of men who would happily take David's place. Like, HELLO it's Britney, bitch.
Britney Spears was last photographed with David last week, just after nominating him to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Like most gals going through heartbreak, Britney took to Instagram to tell people she was having a 'shitty day'.
"Okay, if you ever have a really, really shitty day, find someone with shoes with hearts on them," Britney says in the Instagram video.
Britney then pans the video to her business manager Robin Greenhill wearing a pair of shoes with hearts on them. The video then goes back to Brit, who says "made my day!"
You know what else helps, Britney? Ice cream.

Britney Spears is in love - and she doesn't care who knows it! The starlet is shouting from the rooftops about new beau David Lucado, less than a year after her engagement with Jason Trawick ended.

Britney told stateside chat show Entertainment Tonight: "I'm in love. I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways.
"He's just a simple man. I adore him. He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious." Wowzers.
Britney, whose new album, Britney Jean, will be released on 3 December, started dating the Lucado, who previously worked at a law firm, in March this year after meeting him through mutual friends. And, according to Brit, David's even got the seal of approval from the man in her life that's hardest to please: her dad, Jamie.
The Work B*** singer recently spoke of her desire to settle down again, stating: "I'd like to have more kids - maybe twins - and get married. That would be nice."
Sounds like the real thing. But we want to see Cruise-style some sofa-bouncing next time, Spears!
