While the Gunners have have expressed interest in Edinson Cavani along with Premier League rivals Liverpool - according to the Uruguayan's agent at least - they may have another Paris Saint-German target in mind.
Reports suggest the Gunners are closing in on a move for highly-rated French 19-year-old Adrien Rabiot.
It is believed that a whole host of top Premier League clubs are monitoring midfielder, who could cost in the region of £8 million, if reports are to be believed.

Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal are now capable of holding their own with the big boys in the transfer market.
With rumours swirling that the club are on the verge of selling another club captain to Manchester United and the Frenchman’s former protege Cesc Fabregas lining up for Chelsea this term, he insists that the Gunners are less vulnerable than they were four years ago.

No formal interest or bid has been tabled for the 22-year-old yet but the Old Lady are believed to have sounded out the club and the player for any indications of a move.
Despite his high-profile smoking controversy Arsene Wenger remains a big fan of Wilshere and would be hugely reticent to let him leave at any price.
Indeed, suggestions are that he intends to build his team around him as his deep-lying anchorman in midfield.
