Arsenal could offer Olivier Giroud as bait, along with £32million to lure Edinson Cavani to the Emirates, according to reports in France.
The Uruguayan centre-forward is rumoured to want out of Paris Saint Germain this summer and this has got Arsene Wenger on red alert.
French sports news website Sport.fr claims that Arsenal are on the verge of making the player-plus-clash offer for the former Napoli striker.
It's unclear whether the French club would be willing to do business, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic currently propping up the injury table.

Harry Redknapp is unaware of any interest for Loic Remy from his former club and this Sunday's opponents, Tottenham.
Remy had failed a medical at Liverpool earlier in the window but his situation has been an ongoing transfer saga throughout this window.
Speaking at his weekly press conference, Redknapp said: "I'm confident Loic will be here. I've spoken to him and his attitude has been first class. He's enjoying it here.
"I think Loic has seen the players we've signed and he's been impressed. He's a great lad and we're happy to have him."

After blowing £11million on Ross McCormack, Fulham have signed a youngster.
Tiago Casasola has penned a three-year deal with an option for a further year at Craven Cottage.
According to the club's official website, plenty of other clubs were in the race to sign the 19-year-old but Felix Magath has got his man

Good news for Liverpool fans, the man with one of the wisest appearances in football says that Mario Balotelli is no longer a bad boy.
Andrea Pirlo has had his say on his international colleague's £16million switch to Anfield.
The Italian goal-getter has had a chequered past, littered with off-field controversies.
"Mario has matured since he has been back in Italy," Pirlo said.
"I have always said that in the right environment he has the potential to be one of the best strikers in Europe.
"The time has come to write only about what he does on the field."

Manchester United transfer news
Having missed out on the A-team, Louis van Gaal has switched his attentions to signing players from a transfer B-list.
The Dutchman is frustrated United have failed to sign the likes of Toni Kroos, Mats Hummels and Thomas Vermaelen this summer - three of his major targets.
United look to battle it out with Arsenal for the signature of Sami Khedira, who is free to leave the Bernabau after former target Kroos took his spot in the side.
Angel Di Maria wants out, van Gaal wants him - this could be a perfect match.
The Argentine winger has been linked with a £50million switch to Old Trafford but PSG are sniffing around him.

Balotelli, it's all mostly about Balotelli.
Liverpool are on the verge of signing Mario Balotelli for £16million, just weeks after Brendan Rodgers dismissed the link.
The Reds have agreed a fee with AC Milan and now talks are underway after the Italian flew to Merseyside.
However, there are still thought to be some "significant" hurdles to overcome - not least with demands Brendan Rodgers will make about Balotelli's conduct.
Elsewhere, speculation that the Reds are hoping to finalise a deal which will see Samuel Eto'o join the club.
Merseyside rivals Everton are also in the running - as are Ajax - but Rodgers is keen to lure the Cameroonian to Anfield.
