Photos From Solange And Alan Ferguson’s Wedding In New Orleans


Solange and Alan Ferguson tied the knot on the 16 of November with the Knowles entourage in grande attendance.

The Bride looked stunning in a dress by Humberto Leon for Kenzo not surprising as there had been several sightings of her friend and collaborator Humberto Leon in NOLA over the past few months.

The Family commissioned photographer Rog Walker took the official wedding portraits, and the stunning all-female family tableau which includes sister Beyoncé and mother Tina Knowles in a themed work of contemporary Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft.

Knowles arrived at the ceremony in an unusual fashion to the Bywater district of the city on a white-painted bicycle decorated with cream roses and wearing an ivory-toned look by Stephane Rolland.

She walked down the aisle to one of the couple’s favorite songs, a symphonic instrumental of Donny Hathaway’s, “I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry.” With performances by musician friends Kelela, Questlove, and Kindness—and an adorable dance-off between Knowles and her ten-year-old son Daniel Julez to “No Flex Zone,”.
