Ian Wright Too Short For Star Wars



Arsenal Legend Ian Wright recently revealed that he wanted to be a stormtrooper in a star wars movie but he got rejected because he was too short.

Ian Wright talked about his failed attempt to start an acting career on the 5 live radio show saying ‘I wanted to be a stormtrooper in Star Wars but you have to be 5 foot 11 inches and I was too short. Two of my friends got to do it.’

Star Wars are set to release another installation of the franchise titled The Force Awakens in December and we would not be seeing Wright in it.

Ian Wright held the scoring record for Arsenal until 2006 when it was broken by Henry. Ian Wright is also the Father of Bradley and Shawn Wright-Phillips

The story is that he 'never socialized with Amber off set, other than a cast dinner', and adds that he had no on-set contact with her either, other than in a professional capacity.
