There are also a lot of wealthy men and women who have university degrees.

Below is a list of successful celebrities that have shown to the world that they can make it without a university degree. you can mention anyone you know that isn’t on the list in the comment section.
1) Genevieve Nnaji
Genevieve Nnaji is a very intelligent woman and with her good command of English, you’d know that she didn’t acquire a University Degree, even several years after saying that she would go back to school. She’s been able to amass wealth with her acting career. Genevieve Nnaji is considered to be one of the best paid actresses in Nollywood.




2) Wizkid-
WizAdult! Wizkid dropped out of Lead City University in his second year and at that time, nobody thought it was a bad idea considering the money was swimming in.



3) 9ICE



9ice who is now a politician attended Abule Okuta Primary School and CMS Grammar School, and dropped out from his Law course at the Lagos State University to concentrate on music.


4) Mercy Johnson


She is one of the highest paid actresses in Nollywood. Mercy Johnson Okojie revealed that she got into the Nigerian movie industry because she failed the university entrance exams (JAMB) several times.

5) D’banj



Dbanj is one of the leading musicians in Africa. And we all remember his split from the Mohit all stars group. Plans to continue his studies as a mechanical engineer in London were derailed when he arrived in the UK in 2001, and met Don Jazzy who was trying to make it as a songwriter and producer. D’banj stopped school at his 300 level.

Davido is going to be a graduate this year (God help him). He is one of the musicians making waves in africa now.


7) Ramsey Noah





Ramsey Nouah

Nouah was born in Edo State to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos, where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School. He obtained a diploma at the University of Lagos, after which he pursued a career in acting. Although he revealed in an interview that he didn’t get a university degree, Ramsey’s entire career is a huge success.

8) Chidinma Ekile



She attended primary and secondary school in Ketu prior to relocating to Ikorodu with her family. Chidinma who initially wanted to study Mass Communication declined her admission into the University of Lagos due to her advancement in the Project fame competition. Although there’s word outside that she’s in Unilag studying sociology, Chidinma hasn’t cofirmed it.

9)DonJazzy;


The DonDorobucci himself! yes, he’s on this list! Michael Collins Ajere popularly known as Don Jazzy is one of the famous Nigerians who did not need education to achieve success. The prolific music producer and C.E.O of Mavin Records dropped out of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in his first year.

10) Tuface

Innocent Idibia needs no introduction. Tuface as he’s popularly called attended Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. He enrolled at Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management. While attending IMT, he performed at school organised shows and parties. He eventually dropped out to pursue his music career.
