Olympic qualifier: Falcons wary of Mali backlash

The Super Falcons have declared their readiness to confront their Malian counterparts for a ticket to Rio 2016 Olympics.

Nigeria, who dismissed Mali in the All Africa
Games 2015 qualifier on 10-1 aggregate, will host their opponents again in their first leg of the qualifier in Abuja on May 9.
Falcons Media Officer, Gracious Akujobi, told National Mirror yesterday that the players were in high spirit as the training regime intensified. “The Falcons are not thinking about the last outings with Mali but are focused on the Olympic ticket and nothing will be left to chance,” the media officer said.

“They have everything going well for them and thankfully, there are no injury worries in camp,.”
