Chelsea To Offer Mourinho New Bumper Deal


After delivering the premier league title for Chelsea, Jose Mourinho will be offered a bumper two year contract extension by owner Roman Abramovich, according to reports.

Mourinho is already the highest-paid boss in the Premier League on a contract until the summer of 2017, but his success will earn him a better-paid deal until 2019, according to the Evening Standard.

It is said that nothing is yet formal, but with Mourinho saying he wants to stay at Chelsea “for as long they want me”, Abramovich could soon make the move to tie down one of the world’s top managers.

Last weekend’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace secured Chelsea’s fourth top-flight crown in 10 years, ree of which have been under Mourinho.
