Osun Workers Begin Indefinite Strike Over Unpaid 7 Months Salaries


Workers in Osun state have embarked on an indefinite strike over the failure if Governor Rauf Aregbesola to pay their salaries for the past seven months. 

Osun Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Mr Adekomi Jacob gave notice of the strike on Monday. He said, ''The strike will commence from May 26 until when the demands of the unions and workers are met''.

''All workers in the state are advised to stay at home until further directive by the Labour''.
