Veteran actor Femi Robinson and the second actor to act as the Village Headmaster in the classic TV series is dead. The veteran thespian passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday,
May 20, 2015, at Ayodele Hospital, Fagba, in the Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos. ‘He was a great man. He tried as much as he could to change the world. He had his personal views about life. He was committed to truth and he put his mind and character to pursue his vision and passion. He tried as much as possible to change his environment, the entertainment industry, aviation industry, and arts and culture industry. But as God would have it, his death was not good enough. He has been credited for several deeds in broadcasting, arts and aviation. He was an embodiment of ideas. Three months ago, he came out of this and thought he would survive it. He was a man that never gave up, but he could not beat this one’, his son said in a statement. Late Robinson was as a Public Relations expert, Business and Theatre Administrator, and the pioneer Director of Programs of the Ogun State Television (OGTV). Other cast and crew of the Village Headmaster who have died include Justus Esiri, Oba Funsho Adeolu and Chief Segun Olusola....
