Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joke Silva, OC Ukeje For NEA 2015 Awards

As the Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) draws closer, SAMUEL ABULUDE looks at the contenders for the prime prizes.
Come September, the best of entertainers will be honoured in faraway United States of America. Actors, musicians, disc jockeys with origins in Nigeria and other parts of Africa have been nominated for their roles in different movies at the 10th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, NEA.
Favourite actors that include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joke Silva, OC Ukeje, Hakeem Kae Kazeem, Femi Jacobs and Rita Dominic amongst a list of acts received nominations at the awards ceremony. Ahead of the awards scheduled to hold in New York City on September 6, 2015, the organisers recently released a long list of nominees in the movie category with a promise of a nominees party scheduled for August in Lagos, Nigeria.
Breakout rappers, CDQ & Lil Kesh of Shoki will be up against Mavins duo Korede Bello and Di’ja for the best new act award.
Great albums were dropped last year. Indigenous rappers Olamide & Reminisce as well as Yemi Alade, Praiz, Wizkid and Flavour who all dropped dope albums will be competing for the Album of The Year award.
