Charly Boy popularly known as area father yesterday visited Majek Fashek at the Abuja rehabilitation center where he is being treated for drug and alcohol addiction.
Majek Fashek who has been in rehab for a while now under the sponsorship of Oil Baron, High Chief Ayiri Emani who paid the full expense of the reggae musicians treatment.
Majek seems to be adapting to his environment.
Charlie Boy had earlier spoken to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Abuja saying Majek Fashek was an iconic artiste who should not be left in his present terrible condition.
Majek Fashek first gained national fame on a television show in the early 1980s as a member of Benin-based reggae group Jastix. His bandmates included Ras Kimono and Amos McRoy Gregg.
