Hyundai Elantra Stability Issues Now With A Fix!

Hyundai announced earlier today that it is recalling the Elantra after NHTSA discovered an issue with the electronic stability control system.
In detail, NHTSA revealed that the yaw sensor for the electronic stability control system is malfunctioning and this can cause the application of one or more of the brakes and cut power to the engine.

Hyundai found that the issue has affected a total of 155,000 vehicles that are produced from October 29, 2011 and October 25, 2011. Owners of the affected Elantra have been notified of the recall order and they are expected to bring their vehicle in for inspection.

Once that is done and dealt with, Hyundai will replace any malfunctioning parts for free.
