German media reports are now indicating that there are 150 people injured.

Initial reports said that 100 had been injured in the incident.

Two have been confirmed dead, and authorities fear that ten of those injured have serious wounds.

It appears then that the packed trains were full of only professional commuters.

About eight people were seriously injured and 12 more slightly hurt in a train crash in the southern state of Bavaria on Tuesday, German police said.

Local media reported that several carriages were overturned after two trains collided and one was derailed near Bad Aibling in the southeastern corner of Germany.
