Six killed in France school minibus crash after vehicle collides with truck

News agency AFP said the school vehicle crashed with a truck - it is not yet known how many people have been injured


Six people have been killed in a school minibus crash in France.

French police say six teenagers were killed when the vehicle collided head on with a truck at around 7.15am local time (6.15am GMT).

The crash took place in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime, in the south-west of the country.

The minibus was said to be carrying 17 people - three suffered minor injuries and eight people escaped unhurt. We'll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
