Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Sunday Oliseh has rejected Kaduna as host of the crucial 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt as proposed by the Nigeria Football Federation.
The NFF has proposed the for the March 2016 clash with Egypt but Oliseh has rejected the proposal preferring the Adokiye Amasiemaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

According to a Complete Sports report, a top source in the NFF revealed that Oliseh that the choice of Kaduna as the venue for the clash will not allow players to prepare very well for the game.

Oliseh is concerned that taking connecting flights to Kaduna which does not have an international airport will be too much for the players.

“He wrote in the e-mail that if the federation choose Port Harcourt, the players can fly directly to the Garden City from Europe since there is an international airport there,” the NFF source is quoted to say in the report.
