KILLINGS: IPOB berates military, Police over alleged collaboration with Fulani herdsmen

NNEWI—The Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, has berated the Nigerian military and the police for their alleged collaboration with Fulani herdsmen in killing people only to turn around to claim they are fake soldiers and police men. In a statement issued after its meeting in Nnewi, signed by its Media and Publicity Officer, Mr. Emma Powerful, IPOB said Nigerian soldiers have displayed their cannibalism of not caring for innocent human lives when they massacred IPOB members in churches and streets while praying and protesting for the release of their leader Mr Nnamdi Kanu.

“Their recent denial of taking part in the killing of people in Agatu, Enugu State and other Biafran lands and claiming that the people that did the killings, and raping of women and girls were fake soldiers, fake police and their Fulani herdsmen collaborators was idiotic and an after thought because of the condemnation their action has received from Nigerians and the international community. “Nigerian solders and Fulani herdsmen collaborated in ravaging, killing, maiming and raping of women and girls at Awgu community in Enugu state and other parts of Biafra land.

Their claiming it’s fake soldiers and police is only diverting attention to escape the bashing of Nigerians and international community over the heinous crime. “IPOB strongly believes and in unmistakable terms insists that the Nigerian military are working in collaboration with Boko Haram members in the name of Fulani herdsmen to exterminate the life of Biafrans, but let them be informed that their plans will work,” he said. According to IPOB, “that is a very dangerous task for the Nigerian Army to get involved in because its consequences will be suicidal and we will not condone it any longer. It will not be easy for them to kill all Bifrans in one day but it will be a suicidal task to kill Biafrans.

“IPOB also condemns the attitude of the government in Enugu state that has allowed its subjects to be suffering and refused to fight for the people that voted them in. IPOB is asking the South East Governors to sit up as they owe their people the duty of protecting them” he said. Biafra, an ill wind Meantime, Ndigbo have been advised that resurrecting and animating the ghost of Biafra is an ill wind powered by godfather-induced adolescent rascality.

A public affairs commentator, Sir Andrew I. Ajaero, who stated this in a press statement titled: “Resurrecting the ghost of Biafra in the Nigerian political cobweb: An ill wind”, also accused the leaders and protagonists of Biafra of pepping up their loyalists with hard drugs, tempting cash and promises of adequate settlement in an utopian El-Dorado state, when Nigeria succumbs to concessions. “These youths, who have lost their autonomy, surrender themselves to the whims and caprices of their satanic leaders and with bravado, fearing no man or God, go berserk and are mercilessly mowed down by superior bullets during violent demonstrations”,

Ajaero said. While saying that Ndigbo should give peace a chance, Sir Ajaero also said that some leaders of the current agitation, know absolutely nothing about Biafra. “Some leaders of the current agitation know nothing about Biafra, as many of them were not even born then”, Ajaero said.
