According to TMZ, Anita Baker  the “Sweet Love” singer that most of us have been fans of for almost all of our lives is currently in trouble with the law!
Yes you read it right!
Reportedly the multi-Grammy nominated and award winning artist is about to be asking “What have you done to me?” to a Detroit court because an arrest warrant was issued for her after she failed to appear for a hearing in an ongoing legal battle with a home decor company!
According to court records, the bench warrant was issued after the singer failed to show up to court.
Ray Smith Painting and Decorating has sued Baker, claiming she owes the company $15,000 for services it performed inside her giant Grosse Pointe, MI home.
No word yet from the Baker camp…but you know good and well we are going to STAY TUNED for updates to this story…how in the world could we not…she’s Anita freakin Baker for goodness sake!
