It's been a good week for William and Kate...

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally hired a nanny for Prince George, who turns one in March. The lucky lady, who will join the royal family on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in April, is Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, a Spanish nanny in her 30s who has lived in the UK for many years. “The Duke and Duchess are of course delighted she has chosen to join them,” a palace rep announced.

Miley Cyrus’ tour bus caught fire this week and was completely destroyed. The bus burst into flames as the singer and her Bangerz Tour were en route from Houston to New Orleans for her next performance. Miley’s mother and 14-year-old sister were in the vehicle at the time; thankfully no one was injured.

Pamela Anderson admitted this week that her teenage sons know about her infamous sex tape - but she isn't sure if they've watched it. Pam and their father Tommy Lee made the tape on their honeymoon in 1995 and it was leaked shortly after. “They know about it. They know about everything. Stupid internet,” she said of her sons, Brandon, 17, and Dylan, 16.

Britney was chief bridesmaid at her sister Jamie Lynn’s wedding in New Orleans. The 22-year-old married fiancé James Watson and Britney was by her side in a floor-length grey gown. Afterwards the star described the day as “magical”. “So happy I could be a part of my little sister’s big day,” she tweeted.

Lady Gaga was criticised this week over her performance of ‘Swine’ at the SXSW festival where she was thrown up on by ‘vomit artist’ Millie Brown. Demi Lovato, who has suffered from eating disorders, accused Gaga of “using the excuse of art to engage in self-destructive behaviours”. “Bulimia isn't cool,” Demi said.

Glee’s 100th episode aired this week, and the show’s stars including Lea Michele and Dianna Agron got together to celebrate the milestone. Lots of old favourites were there too as the storyline revolved around the glee club being disbanded, so ex-cast members returned to pay their respects.

Chris Brown has been moved from rehab to jail and will stay behind bars until at least 23 April, under judges’ orders. The troubled singer was kicked out of his rehab clinic after breaking several rules, including allegedly failing to undergo a drugs test.

Kanye West has been sentenced to two years’ probation after allegedly attacking a photographer at LAX last year. The hot-headed rapper was also accused of trying to steal the snapper’s camera. A judge ruled that Kanye must also do 250 hours of community service and attend 24 anger management sessions.

Kate Winslet has revealed how she came up with the unique name of Bear for her baby son – she let her children, Mia, 13, and Joe, 10, choose it! “It was really lovely, actually, they were very much included, and we settled on Bear quite early on,” the star said. Also this week, Kate was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She described the accolade as “this wonderful moment in my life that I know I will never forget”.

The angry star took to Twitter to deny she was going anywhere. “Heard a silly rumour that I'm quitting the show,” she wrote. “Not true!”
