The beach is back: Elton with family
The kids can be a real handful on a day out to the beach – as Elton John and his partner David Furnish found out in St Tropez.
The singer, 67, who had a 1974 hit with The Bitch Is Back, was also juggling a small dog as he took sons Zachary, three, and Elijah, one, out on a boat for lunch.
It made a pleasant change from last summer when the pop legend had emergency surgery for appendicitis.
Luckily, the family had their entourage along to ease the load – including a couple of sturdy chaps to help Elton off the boat...

'Our Brand Is Crisis' star Billy Bob Thornton has branded the suggestion that he slept with Amber Heard during the production of their latest movie 'London Fields' as 'completely false' according to reports from TMZ . The story is that he 'never socialized with Amber off set, other than a cast dinner', and adds that he had no on-set contact with her either, other than in a professional capacity.
