What you are about to read is something that you never thought you were ever going to hear - seriously.
Sachin Tendulkar has signed Michael Chopra. Thought so.
The former Sunderland and Newcastle United centre-forward has joined the Little Master's Indian Super League franchise, the Kerela Blasters.
Chopra was the Kerela's first pick at the International Players Draft because of his experience in English football.
David Trezeguet, Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg and Luis Garcia have been drafted for the competition starting on October 12.

More on what we brought you earlier, seriously Arsene Wenger is actually in for a defensive midfielder.
No cards close to his chest this time - they are firmly resting on the table, for the world to see.
Mikel Arteta will be out for the weekend, he's had a scan to determine whether it's serious or not.
Despite the result of the scan, Wenger is searching the market to bolster his midfield.

It looks like Paul Pogba's transfer saga is going to rumble on and on.
The midfielder's agent, Mino Raiola, has dismissed Juventus' claims that he is set to sign a contract extension past 2016.
Raiola said that no discussions had taken place between himself and representatives of the Old Lady, before adding: "The last ten days of this transfer window are going to be important and hectic."
Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are all on alert for the 21-year-old's signature.

Stepping down a couple of divisions now and Bristol City have pulled off the signing of centre-forward Kieran Agard from Rotherham for an undisclosed fee.
Agard, netted 21 times for League One play-off winners Rotherham last term.
The former Rotherham striker had been in talks with Leeds United last week but the move fell through because Massimo Cellino didn't like his attitude.
Agard only had a year remaining on his contract after turning down Rotherham's offer of extending his contract.

Looks like Arsene Wenger wasn't lying, he really is in for a defensive minded midfielder.
That search has led them to France, to the big-spenders Paris Saint Germain.
Metro claims that an agreement has been reached between Arsenal and the French champions for under-21 international Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot is no stranger to England, he spent a few months at Manchester City's academy back in 2008.

Great news for any of you Swansea fans, looks like you have won the race to sign Benjamin Stambouli from Montpellier.
The Swans were facing stiff competition from Fiorentina but look to have reached €4million agreement with the French club.
Fiorentina are yet to make an official bid to Montpellier but their interest still stands in the 24-year-old midfielder but they look unlikely to cough up the same amount as the South Wales club.
10:43 am
Mario Balotelli appears to have confirmed his exit from AC Milan.
Sky Italia are quoting the striker as saying: "Today will be my last day in Milanello."
It is beginning to look like this transfer will be done and dusted quite quickly.
10:37 am
West Ham have solved their 50 goal a season problem and are now looking for a way to keep them out.
Sam Allardyce has added Aaron Cresswell and Carl Jenkinson to his back line but admits he is searching all across Europe to bolster his defensive ranks.
The Hammers are without James Collins because of suspension and James Tomkins could be absent for some time with an injury.

Franz Beckenbauer wants Bayern Munich to beat Arsenal to the signature of Sami Khedira.
The Bavarian side are winning the race against Chelsea and Manchester United to sign Roma defender Mehdi Benatia.
And now the Kaiser reckons the World Cup winner - a target for Arsenal - would be a perfect fit in the midfield of the German champions if he leaves Real Madrid.
Beckenbauer told Bild: "Khedira would be good in any team. He would be excellent at Bayern. He is extremely talented in the No 6 role. He could play alongside Schweinsteiger or Lahm. He would be very good."
Khedira, 27, was not included in the Real Madrid squad for the Spanish Sup Cup tie with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. The German is out of contract next summer and the Spanish side will need to agree a new deal on cash in on him this window.
10:26 am
Hull City have added themselves to an esteemed bunch of clubs by registering an interest in Vincent Aboubakar.
Monaco, Porto, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica are all keeping tabs on the 22-year-old centre-forward.
"We haven't made an offer, no. We've had conversations but we've had conversations with about six or eight different clubs."
The Cameroon international netted 16 times in 35 league games for Lorient last season and will add much needed fire power to replace Shane Long, who departed for Southampton last week.
10:15 am
Gazetta dello Sport claim that Roma officials have jetted into London to discuss possible moves for Tottenham's Vlad Chriches and Manchester City's Matija Nastasic.
The newspaper also claim that Napoli's pursuit of Marouane Fellaini has been halted due to the midfielder's injury situation.
Napoli still have half an eye on the Manchester United man but have turned their attention to Tottenham's Sandro, if Fellaini is out for a long-term stretch.
10:01 am
Stefan Kiessling insists he's not moving to the Premier League, despite people telling him he would do well.
The German centre-forward who missed out on the World Cup winners' touring party to Brazil is keen to see out the three years he has remaining at Bayer Leverkusen.
He told newspaper Die Welt: "Many people have advised me in the past few years, 'hey, England would be a good fit for you.' But I feel totally comfortable in Leverkusen."

Manchester United round up
It's official, Marcos Rojo has completed his move to Old Trafford.
The Argentine put pen to paper on a five-year deal, which saw Nani move the opposite way on a season-long loan deal.
Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Angel Di Maria to stay with him at Real Madrid, instead of making the switch to Manchester.
Reports in France claimed that PSG had a loan deal in place with the winger with a view to a permanent switch next year but rumours linking him to Old Trafford won't go away.
9:41 am
Arsene Wenger is fuelling speculation that he is in the market for a defensively-minded midfielder before the transfer window closes.
In his weekly press conference he confirmed that the club weren't against making another acquisition to the centre of the park.
The Arsenal manager is usually bullish in distancing himself from transfer speculation but this time seemed keen to turn up the heat himself.
9:36 am
Roberto Martinez, speaking during his weekly press conference, was asked about whether Everton are in for Samuel Eto'o.
His reaction? A smile.
"There's going to be many links, you know that. There's still a long time in the window. We're more focused than ever to see how strong we are internally."
Games against Arsenal and Chelsea will give the Toffees boss an indication on whether he needs to bring in new faces, and because of that, he added: "I'm happy we're playing two of the best teams before the window."
But one man Martinez could look to bring in is 18-year-old David Henen of Anderlecht."It's something we may consider over the next two to three weeks," he explained, though with the development squad in mind, not the first team.
9:31 am
Liverpool round up
Liverpool's search to fill a 31-goal void has led them to AC Milan bad boy Mario Balotelli but they are yet to put in a bid, according to the Italian club.
Former Manchester City striker Balotelli, is believed to be on Brendan Rodgers' radar as he looks to add a marquee name to his front-line before the end of the window.
The Reds would want to insert a clause to ensure there is no repeat of his livewire antics that overshadowed his last stay in England.
Brendan Rodgers could be on the verge of spending £12million on a loan deal for Radamel Falcao, with an option for signing him permanently next summer for £31million.

Arsenal round up
Arsenal's want for a new defender could lead them to Atletico Madrid's out-of-favour Belgian stopper Toby Alderweireld.
The former Ajax man, 25, has been a peripheral figure at the Vicente Calderon since arriving 12 months ago, and that situation shows little sign of changing, despite a summer of ins and outs at the Spanish champions.
Arsene Wenger is in need of a replacement for his compatriot Thomas Vermaelen, and according to Nieuwsblad in Belgium, the Gunners could move for the defender, who is equally comfortable at right-back or centre-half.
