Today would be Tuesday, the Premier League season is now just four days away, and we've plenty more transfer goodness right here

Striking moves: Loic Remy and Samuel Eto'o are on the agenda
11:07 am
Another to leave Manchester City this morning is Greg Leigh, who will spend the first half of the season on loan with Crewe Alexandra.
The young left-back will continue his development with the Railywaymen until the start of January 2015, after impressing in City's youth set up.
You may have spotted him on the first-team tour of Scotland and the USA this summer, where he made four appearances.

Done Deal Klaxon
Celtic have completed the signing of Belgian defender Jason Denayer on a year-long loan from Manchester City.
The Bhoys agreed a deal for the highly-rated 19-year-old, who has already been compared to Vincent Kompany.
Denayer is joined by Bulgarian international Aleksandar Tonev, who has also joined Celtic Park on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.

RiRi 'Unapologetic' in her Liverpool love
Forget the movements of players or even managers. The biggest story of this transfer window could be the sale of Liverpool to none other than…. RIHANNA?!
The controversial singer fell in love with football during the World Cup, and now the beautiful Barbadian wants to take her commitment to the beautiful game even further, by acquiring the Merseyside outfit.
According to Mundo Deportivo, RiRi has identified the Anfield club as her perfect new play thing. Now all she needs to do is convince current owners Fenway Sports Group.
We were going to end on a pun, but there are too many great ones here already.

Toure close to Turkey switch
One player seemingly not in Brendan Rodgers' plans for the new season is Kolo Toure, whose career in the Premier League could finally be coming to an end, with Turkish side Trabzonspor closing in on his signing.
The 33-year-old spent last season with Liverpool on a free transfer after being released by former club Manchester City.
But it appears that this is a gamble that hasn't paid off and the Ivory Coast international looks set to leave for a fee in the region of £1.6 million.
Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, president of Trabzonspor, was quoted saying: "We are building the type of squad which we promised to the fans.
"We have agreed terms with Kolo Toure and we will bring him to the club."

Hummels going nowhere
Jurgen Klopp insists that Manchester United target Mats Hummels will not be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The World Cup-winning centre-back has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford, but his manager is adamant that he will not lose another of his prized assets during the close season.
"He is going nowhere," Klopp told reporters. "He is staying with us."

Herrera tells Hernandez to move to Juve
Mexico's manager Miguel Herrera thinks that Javier Hernandez is wasting his time staying in Manchester, and should leave Old Trafford to reignite his career.
The striker has struggled for game time since the arrival of Robin van Persie two seasons ago and was reportedly told this week that he is not part of Louis van Gaal's plans.
As a result, his form with the national team has also dipped and Hernandez cut a peripheral figure at the recent World Cup.
Now, his national team manager has suggested that the talented poacher should consider moving on, with Serie A promising a good fit.
He told ESPN: "I think [Chicharito] needs to leave. I think [Juventus] would be a good option for him.
"When a coach doesn't want you - when you have your best experience, your best moment with them, and now the coach that wanted you is no longer there - it's time to move.
"If he goes to Juventus that would be an extraordinary team. Without a doubt, it would be a nice change for him. Hopefully he'll see more minutes."

Swansea want Fernandez deal wrapped up by weekend
Swansea are pushing hard to have an £8 million deal for Federico Fernandez wrapped up in time for their season opener with Manchester United this weekend, writes Alan Nixon.
Part of the Argentina squad to reach the final of the World Cup, the centre half is on the brink of a move to the Liberty Stadium after the Welsh side agreed a fee with Napoli.
However, the race is now on to get his work permit signed off and finalise the deal before the start of the Premier League season.
The Swans remain confident that they can get it signed off in time.

Cambiasso's Foxes move inches closer
Esteban Cambiasso's seemingly unlikely move to Leicester City continues to inch closer with the 33-year-old Argentinian midfielder ready to put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
It's worth remembering that the Foxes were once on the verge of signing one of the biggest names in the history of the game, Dutch legend Johan Cruyff - so they're certainly not shy of making audacious bids.
Their pursuit of the former Real Madrid and Inter veteran is strengthened by the fact that he has wanted to play in England for some time.
This would certainly be one of the shock signings of the summer if it goes through.
10:13 am
Elsewhere, Chelsea are already allegedly looking to replace Didier Drogba. But it's not a result of buyer's remorse, so much as that the Ivorian has picked up an ankle injury which could result in a protracted period of procrastination on the sidelines.
With this in mind, and, no doubt smarting at letting Romelu Lukaku make his move to Everton permanent, Jose Mourinho is now sounding out QPR over a move for striker Loic Remy, according to reports.
Lukaku has been linked with a host of top Premier League clubs this summer, including Arsenal and Newcastle.
However, he is currently set to start the season with the Hoops, after enjoying a successful year on loan with the Magpies last season.

Not to be outdone, Manchester United continue to be linked with anyone and everyone who has ever stepped out on a football pitch, and the world waits with bated breath for Louis van Gaal to show his hand in the transfer market.
We've all heard the names have been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, and Daley Blind certainly sounded open to a switch yesterday.
But another that United may ultimately miss out on is Roma defender Mehdi Benatia - despite being heavily linked with a move to the red half of Manchester, he's just emerged as a shock £30 million target for the Red Devils' Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The Moroccan international has fallen out of favour in the Italian capital and is training alone, with a number of clubs including United reportedly monitoring the situation.
It looks like Jose Mourinho may just be hoping to draw first blood in his imminent-and-completely-unexpected-season-long feud with Van Gaal, by trumping the United manager in the transfer market before a Premier League ball has even been kicked in anger.

Next up, we've pulled Liverpool out of the hat, and it's certainly shaping up to be an interesting morning over at Anfield, where Samuel Eto'o has emerged as a sudden - and rather unexpected - target for Brendan Rodgers, writes to the Mirror's John Cross.
The Reds manager could turn to the former Barcelona, Inter and Chelsea striker in his latest bid to strengthen his attacking line-up ahead of the new season.
Liverpool have already bolstered themselves with the arrivals of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic, but it seems that Rodgers still isn't happy that he's got a squad capable of replacing Luis Suarez's goals and assists.
Enter the 33-year-old Cameroonian from stage left, with his representatives understood to have held talks with Merseyside chiefs about a possible move to Anfield. However, Ajax are also said to be sniffing around.
9:44 am
A few cheeky club-by-club round-ups to kick things off on this most fine of mornings.
The big news in North London is that Arsenal are keen on Greek Kostas Manolas to fill that Thomas Vermaelen-shaped hole that has just been vacated in their squad.
After their impressive showing in the Community Shield this weekend, the Gunners won't want to go into the new season just one strained calf muscle away from a crisis at centre-half - and right now, they only have two players at that position, Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker.
Arsene Wenger has been testing out Nacho Monreal and Calum Chambers in the heart of his defence during pre-season, with Mertesacker due to miss the start of the season following his exploits at the World Cup with Germany. But the manager has said he wants to replace Vermaelen.
According to Italian paper Tutto Mercato, 23-year-old Manolas has impressed Wenger with a string of fine performances for Olympiacos and the national team, but the Gunners are likely to face competition from a host of Italian clubs for the young man's signature, with Roma, Juventus and Napoli leading the chasing pack.
