Davido & Whizkid reconcile – Peace Reigns After The Storm




The raging online battle between two bigwigs of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry appears to have been laid to rest following the message sent by Davido (The OBO) crooner to RnB Legend in Nigeria Tuface Idibia (2baba) on his birthday which is today and to Whizkid for his album release.

The artistes have been having some differences for some time now, hitting out at each other on different social media platforms in recent weeks which, dividing opinions and loyalties among fans who were equally involved in inflaming the hatred.



However, it appears the feud has been settled and they are now ready for peace as Davido(David Adedeji Adeleke) Congratulates Wizkid (Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) on the release of his new album (Ayo). The Aye crooner hailed Wizkid and Psquare on the release of their albums (Ayo and Double Trouble).



Davido tweeted “Congratulations to both P SQUARE And WIZKID on their Album release. May God continue to bless y’all ! OBO”.

He also tweeted a birthday message for one of Africa’s most celebrated artiste, Innocent Idibia, who clocked 38 years today.

“Happy birthday @2faceidibia ! To a Great man!!! Your music has healed the world!!”

Kudos to the guys for showing maturity in resolving what to me is a petty issue and we wish both a very long career in the music industry…perhaps a collabo from them in the near future just like the disagreement between Nas & Jay Z was resolved.
