Fast rising dancehall star, Patrick Okorie popularly called Patoranking parted ways with his Timaya’s Dem Mama Records and right after got signed to foston Records.


Patoranking’s recent effort, ‘Girlie O’ was released under the imprint of his new label.
Once a struggling artiste, Patoranking is now living the life the good life, his music career isn’t the only thing that has taking a great leap. Following his deal with Foston Musik, Patoranking is now a proud owner of a new Range rover Evoque SUV and an expensive, well furnished apartment in Metro Garden, Lekki, Lagos.

On 4 February 2014, Patoranking released “Girlie O”, a song produced by WizzyPro. The music video for the song was shot and directed in London by Moe Musa which cost lots of millions was of great standard. Not too long after that the crisp music video for “Girlie O Remix” featuring Tiwa Savage debuted, shot and directed in London by Moe Musa too.

According to sources, all of the above cost Foston Musik lots of 6 figures just to set the talented artist, Patoranking up and living the good life.

Sprisal Entertainment
Contrary to the news that first brokeout sometime last year, that fast rising singer Orezi, signed a deal with Davido‘s HKN Gang, never became a reality but the talented singer got a better deal.


Orezi joined forces with Sprisal Records, being backed by one of the sons of late Oil and Petroleum mogul at FATGBEMS Petroleum, Alhaji Fatai Gbemisola.

Orezi who quit his working relationship with former label Cullbeed Music is currently enjoying his massive success with Sprisal Entertainment. Just like Cullbeed Music boss Kolade ‘Ronkay’ Ajayi’s heavy spending, Orezi is receiving massive financial support once again.

Soon after, Sprisal went on to shoot a high budget video for Orezi’s single ‘Rihanna‘ and the singer went straght to work on his long awaited debut album. The hit single ‘Rihanna’ was later shot in South Africa.

So much for the desire of Orezi and his management, they were willing to pay heavily to get American music star, Rihanna to feature in the video but when all efforts to get the diva to feature in the multi million Naira video, Sprisal Records, went online and decided to shop for a Rihanna look alike. The search finally paid off when a ‘Rihanna’ sent in her entry from Mauritius.

Orezi’s management though decided to be silent on the cost of bringing this stunning beauty down to the shoot on location in South Africa. However, back then an inside source revealed that Sprisal paid an initial deposit of 10,000 dollars to the ‘Rihanna’s look alike master card account while her traveling arrangement to Johannesburg, South Africa revealed a Business class from Mauritius, – Israel – Hong Kong – South Africa which was said to have cost N7.3m altogether with the initial cost for the video.

This is a cited case amongst amongst so many, of how the singers label, lavish a lot of money on him, the You garrit Singer was once quoted saying,“I am signed on to Sprisal Records and the deal is good”. Which leaves one to wonder, how many millions he must have been persuaded with in his record deal.

Baseline Records
