Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have split up after just a few months of dating, according to reports.

Despite the pair keeping their relationship under wraps, (they were never spotted being couple-y in public), they have called time on their romance, E! News reports.

Hunger Games actress Jen reportedly introduced her new man to her mum recently - so we thought it was all on.



Jen's mum, Karen, was reportedly impressed with her daughter's man, 37, and there were talks to invite him over for Christmas dinner!

The actress' grandmother, Carolyn Koch, told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Jennifer's mum flew to Los Angeles to meet Chris. We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas.

"The family is getting so big we might have to split up for gatherings."

But all good things must come to an end we suppose.

Chris has no doubt been a huge support for the stunning star, after nude photos of her were leaked online.

And she's returned the favour and appeared at some of his top gigs over the last few months.

It comes shortly after Chris was spotted on a cosy family dinner with his ex Gwyneth Paltrow - we hope that didn't have anything to do with it.
