Zidane Inducted Into Goal.Com Hall Of Fame



Real Madrid and French legend, Zinedine Zidane has become the first inductee into Goal.com’s hall of fame. Zidane was selected after the website conducted a poll that included legends of football like Luis Figo, Ronaldo and Rivaldo. Zidane emerged the winner of the poll and was inducted into the hall of fame.



When accepting his plaque, the former Juventus Playmaker appreciated the fans for the honor and talked about how all the hardwork on the training ground for all those years finally paid off.

Zidane had a decorated career with France, Juventus and Real Madrid winning the UEFA champions league, the Liga BBVA, with Real Madrid and winning the Seria A with Juventus as well as the European football championship in 2000 and the World Cup in 1998 with France. Zizou, as he is popularly called also captained the French national team to the World cup in 2006 and led them to the final where he was red carded for head-butting Metarazzi of Italy. Zidane is also a two time World Footballer of the year
Zidane changed the way midfielder’s play and would always be mentioned among the greatest players to ever play the game. The Algerian-born Frenchman is currently the head coach at Real Madrid Castilla
