Bobbi Kristina's friend Max Lomas insists he had nothing to do with the tragedy after discovering lifeless body

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s friend Max Lomas has said he had nothing to do with the weekend’s incident.

The aspiring singer’s husband Nick Gordon and Lomas, whose chequered history has been exposed, discovered her body on Saturday face down in a bathtub at her Atlanta home.

Today, Max Lomas’ lawyer has said he’s a witness in the tragedy, not a suspect, reports US website TMZ.

According to the TMZ, the 24-year-old's lawyer said authorities haven’t pointed a finger at his client and Max is fully cooperating with the investigation.

This comes after questions were asked as to why Max was with Nick at the time and what contact Bobbi had been having with him over the last few weeks.

It emerged that Max was charged with two counts of battery back in 2011, although these were later dropped.

Georgia state court documents, obtained by RadarOnline, show he was charged with two counts of battery causing visible harm and one count of alcohol possession as a minor.

The incident, according to the National Enquirer, relates to Bobbi and her now husband Nick.

It was reported that Max approached a car which Bobbi was travelling in and he punched another passenger, Justin walls, repeatedly until he bled.

Last month he was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of anxiety drug Alprazolam, and possession of a firearm.

He was initially arrested after his 18-year-old girlfriend Danyela Bradley’s family told police they thought Max was holding her hostage.

The police report seen by RadarOnline includes the following from Officer M. Matthews: “I was advised by Sgt Desrosiers that family members were worried about Danyela Bradley being held against her will by Maxwell Lomas, who was possibl[y] drugging her so she would not run away.


“When we approached the door I could smell a strong odor of fresh marijuana.”

He attended a hearing just one day before her found Bobbi lying unresponsive.

It’s thought the two couples were close friends as just a few weeks ago Bobbi shared a picture of herself with Max’s girlfriend, Danyela.

Yesterday it emerged that police did discover drugs in the house where Bobbi was found, after initially failing to find another during the first search.
