Nicole Scherzinger has spoken out about her heartbreaking split with F1 ace Lewis Hamilton, saying: “I’m devastated that it didn’t work out."
As she arrived at the Palladium in London to perform in the musical Cats she told the Sun: "It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together.
She added: “I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I’m trying to stay strong in my faith right now.

The Pussycat Dolls beauty dumped her F1 ace because he would not commit to marrying her.
And now it seems that Lewis could have been stringing Nicole along for years after dodging lots of marriage-related questions from interviewers throughout their seven year relationship.
Back in 2011, when questioned by celebrity chat show host Jonathan Ross, the 30-year-old F1 driver seemed less than enthusiastic about the prospect of tying the knot.

"Errrrrr, I don't know about that. We're quite happy with the way we are," he said uncomfortably when Jonathan brought up the M word.
Later that year he attended a red carpet event where he clearly stated that the couple had no wedding plans.
In 2013, the couple briefly split, but after they reunited it seemed Nicole was just as keen to seal the deal.
"Why doesn't he put a ring on it?" said Jonathan Ross in an interview with the former X Factor judge.
"Well, we already have a new puppy," Nicole replied feebly.

Fast forward to late 2014, just after the 36-year-old glamazon had joined the West End cast of Cats, and Lewis was still as reluctant as he was three years ago.
"She lives in LA, I live in Monaco. She's doing Cats now which means she's here for the next two months and I go away and do my training."
"During the year we're always apart, but people can see there's a lot of depth there, we've been together for almost seven years."
