2015: Ebonyians stage ‘one million-man march’ for Jonathan, Umahi

A one million man march took place in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital Tuesday,as supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stage a peaceful rally in support of President Goodluck Jonathan and the state’s gubernatorial candidate, Dave Umahi in the forthcoming March 28 and April 11 general elections.

The rally, which grounded socio-economic activities in the state, as PDP supporters marched through the major streets in support of Jonathan and PDP candidates in the state.

The march, which took off from the Peoples Club Resort, Abakaliki with posters and banners of President Jonathan and that of the PDP governorship candidate, Engr Dave Umahi, who’s Divine Mandate Campaign Organisation, was visibly present.

The supporters, who backed Martin Elechi’s impeachment, noted that the governor was the cause of his political travails because of his “solitary and archaic” style of administration.
