FIFA referees to undergo medical, fitness tests in Abuja

Nigeria’s men and women FIFA referees, have been pencilled down to undergo medical tests in Abuja this Friday, ahead of the first quarter fitness programme.

According to Sani Zubairu, the Secretary of the NFF Referees Committee, all the referees who could not participate in the last fitness test held in December 2014, will take part this weekend.

The programme, which will be held at the mainbowl of the National Stadium Complex, is to ensure they qualify to officiate in the 2015 football season.
The first tests, which will be conducted on Friday, will determine those who will take part in the fitness teston Saturday. Referees for beach soccer and futsal will be part of the group.
