PHOTOs: Angry “Plus Size” Model Stefania Ferrario Shares N*de Photos On Instagram
A lot of models especially in the US hate it when they are considered plus size. It’s actually killing especially when they have worked very hard to bring their body to a reasonable shape and once it’s exceeding US size 4, they are forced to accept the label (plus size) which they hate.
Australian model Stefania Ferrario is sick and tired of being called plus-size. The 21-year-old took to social media to voice her outrage, posting a n.*ude selfie with the phrase “I am a model” written on her stomach.
Stefania wrote,
I am a model FULL STOP. Unfortunately in the modelling industry if you’re above a US size 4 you are considered plus size, and so I’m often labelled a ‘plus size’ model. I do NOT find this empowering.
Stefania is one of a growing number of models speaking out against the term plus-size and urging the fashion industry to stop using it altogether.
