Warri Wolves coach learns from Wenger ahead of CAF Confederation Cup game

Head coach of Warri Wolves, Paul Aigbogun, has expressed his delight after meeting Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger.

Aigbogun is preparing his side for their CAF Confederation Cup match against Ethopian side, Dedebit FC.

The first leg comes up on Saturday at the Warri City Stadium.
“I was in the UK for eight days and I learnt a lot there. I met the Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, and we shared notes on football,” he told SuperSport.

“Wenger opened my eyes to the modern innovations of the game which include football philosophy and the use of technology, and professionally running a club.

“I also met the gentleman in charge of match analysis at English championship club, Derby County.

“I am sure these experiences will help me, not only this weekend against the Ethiopian club, but for the rest of my coaching career”, he stated.

Aigbogun made it clear he was expecting tougher opposition against Dedebit FC, despite overcoming RC Bobo Dioulasso 4-0 on aggregate in the previous round.

He said: “We knew, even before our second leg (preliminary round game against RC Bobo Dioulasso) that we would play them (Dedebit FC), so we started doing our homework on them a long time ago.
