Nigeria did not recall its ambassador to South Africa - Obanikoro


Musiliu Obanikoro, the Minister of State II, Foreign Affairs, has denied reports that Nigeria has recalled its High Commissioner to South Africa, over the spate of xenophobic attacks in the country.

Obanikoro has advised Nigerians to disregard the “rumours and reports” that such an action had been taken by the Federal Government.

In a couple of tweets, Obanikoro explained that the Nigerian High Commissioner to South Africa was called for consultation, as opposed to what is generally believed.
