Arsene Wenger picks three Aston Villa dangermen for FA Cup final

Arsenal will face Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the final of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium later this month.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has identified three Aston Villa players who pose a threat to his side in the FA Cup final,as per quotes published in The Mirror.

The Gunners will take on their Premier League rivals in the final of the prestigious cup competition at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 30.

“They have Benteke up front who can score goals and is very dangerous on crosses,” Wenger told beIN Sports, as reported by The Mirror.

“They are quick on counter-attacks. They have young players like Grealish who look formidable as well. In midfield, Delph is a very influential midfielder so they can be a very dangerous team.”

Christian Benteke

Christian Benteke has been in superb form in recent weeks and will be a key threat to Arsenal’s chances of retaining the FA Cup.

The Belgium international striker has scored 13 goals and created 32 chances in 28 Premier League appearances this campaign.

The 24-year-old has a pass accuracy of 66% and a shot accuracy of 45%, and has won 183 headers, 16 dribbles and six tackles.

Jack Grealish

Just like Benteke, Jack Grealish has burst into life under Tim Sherwood and has been one of the best young players in the Premier League over the past few weeks.

The 19-year-old attacker was superb against Liverpool in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, and he will be asking big questions of the Arsenal defence in the final.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has created 17 chances in 16 Premier League appearances this season, while having a pass accuracy of 93% and a shot accuracy of 71%.

Fabian Delph

Fabian Delph is one of the best players in the current Villa squad and has been playing well under former Tottenham Hotspur boss Sherwood.

The 25-year-old former Leeds United star was brilliant against Liverpool in the semi-finals, and his drive and energy in midfield is something that Arsenal need to watch out for.

Who will win the FA Cup final: Arsenal or Aston Villa?
