Edo State Governor to remarry on Friday, May 15

Oshiomhole will wed Miss Lara Fortes on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Etsako West Local Government Council Marriage Registry in the Auchi area of the state.

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole is set to remarry five years after losing his first wife, Clara.

Oshiomhole will wed Miss Lara Fortes on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Etsako West Local Government Council Marriage Registry in the Auchi area of the state, The Guardian reports.

Invitations to the governor’s wedding are said to have already been sent out and the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10am on the scheduled date.

The wedding reception will hold at Oshiomhole’s country home in Iyamho.

“While looking forward to the honour of your distinguished presence, I sincerely crave your pardon for the rather short notice. Please accept the renewed assurances of my highest esteem,” an invitation note signed by the governor read.

Clara Oshiomhole died in 2010 after a long fight with cancer.
