George Clooney may be the main man but there was only one leading lady at the premiere of his new film Hail, Caesar!

George's stunning wife Amal stole the spotlight in a flirty red and white skater-style dress which highlighted her petite figure.

And from the look on George's face, she certainly captured his attention.

They appeared to only have eyes for each other as they shared a giggle and cuddled up close.

Human rights lawyer Amal opted for a bold frock with an embellished waist and a high hemline.

She completed her look with statement red lipstick, silver court shoes and a matching clutch bag. Her dark tresses were styled in curls and pushed to one side.

Silver fox George dressed in a smart black suit and jumper.

In the new flick he plays a 1950s movie star who plays the leader of the Roman Empire.

"From the minute I got the role, I put on the leather dress and wore it everywhere," he joked to E! News.

"After I'd wrap I'd change into normal clothes and I'd go to dinner with my wife and people would see me with black hair and they'd be like 'Really, dude? Really?' I'm like, 'It's for a movie,'" he laughed. "They thought I was that guy. It was a little embarrassing."
