NFF vows to deal with Victor Moses

Moses has opted out of the friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg – The NFF says the player seems to be picking the invitations he will honour and will deal with him – Nigeria will play Mali on May 27 and then Luxembourg on May 31 For failing to honour yet another invitation to the Super Eagles, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has vowed to deal with Chelsea forward Victor Moses. The West Ham loanee was alleged to have tactically withdrawn from the friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg, and the NFF officials have vowed to take “corrective measures” against the player.  NFF vows to deal with Victor Moses Victor Moses A source at the NFF told Vanguard that the leadership of the football federation is crossed with Victor Moses’ attitude towards the Super Eagles, as “he seems to be picking the invitations he will honour.” The 25-year-old player will not play in the friendlies, having cited ‘fitness concerns’ as the reason for his withdrawal, but the NFF are unhappy with him. “The leadership of the NFF is not happy with Victor Moses as he seems to be handpicking the invitations he will honour,” the source informed. “This is not the first time he’s withdrawing from games citing fitness concerns even when we’re not sure if he’s injured and we are considering taking corrective measures.” Meanwhile, the NFF has applauded the French Embassy in Nigeria after Super Eagles’ assistant coaches and backroom staff were issued with entry visas into Europe on Tuesday, May 24. Assistant coaches Imama Amapakabo and Kennedy Boboye, and physiotherapist Chris Anozie were among those issued visas, and they departed the country through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday night.  Team administrator Dayo Enebi Achor, doctor Ibrahim Gyaran and equipment officer Chidi Ngoka left Nigeria on Monday, May 23. Achor told thenff.com from the team’s camp in France on Tuesday evening that all players, coaches and backroom staff were being expected at the team camp on Wednesday, ahead of Friday’s clash with Mali in Rouen.
