Hailee Steinfeld: Taylor Swift squad doesn’t hang out that much

Hollywood's hottest sorority of A-listers may not be the sisterhood you think.

Just ask singer Hailee Steinfeld, who admits Taylor Swift's seemingly ubiquitous girl squad of celebrities doesn't actually hang out nearly as much as their fans suspects.

"I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do," Steinfeld told Seventeen magazine. "She's amazing, though."

Swift's star studded entourage -—which also includes Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham and many others — came together for the pop star's award-winning "Bad Blood" music video, and members are often photographed together at award shows and events.

But apparently, the idea that they actually spend the bulk of their free time together is nothing more than a fan's wildest dream.

Steinfeld, 19, covered a wide range of topics during her interview with Seventeen, including opening up about being bullied in the past.

"There would be times when I'd come back to my desk and have hand sanitizer all over my books and in my water bottle," she said, adding she also received prank phone calls every morning. "People would come by and slam my locker shut when I was still putting my books in it. It was just the most absurd things that you are supposed to see only in the movies."

Now, however, the "Pitch Perfect" star is focusing on the future as an actress and a musician.

"I want to get to a level where I can headline my own arena tour," she said. "I know that I can make it happen."
