City will announce the signing of winger Marlos Moreno from Atletico Nacional for £4.75m, which follows on from Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane, yet they are not finished there with Coric and Everton's John Stones still in the sights of Pep Guardiola.
City have been conscious of reducing the age profile of their squad and their recruitment has reflected that.

Swansea City are closing in on a couple of signings after a frustrating summer in the transfer market, chairman Huw Jenkins has said.
Swansea have already signed midfielder Leroy Fer, defender Mike van der Hoorn and goalkeeper Mark Birighitti but sold forward Alberto Paloschi to Serie A side Atalanta and loaned out striker Bafetimbi Gomis to French club Marseille.
The Welsh side also had a change in ownership with American investors Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan completing the takeover of the club in June.

Marseille sporting director Gunter Jacob has claimed his team have agreed a deal to sign Thauvin from Newcastle.
The midfielder flopped at St James' Park last term following a £15million switch from the south of France, before he was shipped back to the Ligue 1 club on loan.
Thauvin is expected to join Marseille on loan again with a view to a permanent deal. Newcastle fans will probably be queuing up to drive him back to France... with that bow-tie too.

The 23-year-old, a former England Under-21 international, has joined the Canaries on a four-year deal.
