Kourtney Kardashian has given fans a no holds barred glimpse of life in the limelight, and revealed she sometimes thinks she would be "so happy" if the show would end.

The reality star has stripped naked for magazine shoots, had her private life documented on reality TV, seen her long-term relationship's ups and downs aired for the world to see, and even filmed her baby's birth.

But while she's enjoyed every minute, there are draw backs to living your life in the limelight.

"I don’t want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did and I could just move away from it all," she told the Daily Mail's You magazine.

"By the end of every season I’ve had enough, but then once we have had a break I’m ready for more."

The star has aired half her life on our screens, so it's no surprise she loses track of all her biggest headlines.

"I love having a place where I can share things, but I don’t live my life thinking, 'I’m a role model'," she added. "I still feel surprised when I’m recognised in the street. I forget that so many people know who I am and have seen me give birth."

Kourtney didn't intend to show the footage of her birth at first, but describing it as "beautiful", she decided she wanted to share it with the world.

Now she's putting all of her energy and devotion in to bringing up her three children Mason, Penelope and Reign, following her heartbreaking split from long-term partner Scott Disick.

However, she was full of praise for her ex, and insisted they were managing co-parenting fine - even spending family days together and "communicating all the time".

However, the star admitted it often makes her miss her own father Robert Kardahsian - who sadly died in 2003 - but said she feels his "spirit watching over us all the time".

Not everyone got off so lightly however, as Kourtney couldn't resist making a dig at her younger sister Kim, claiming the world-famous star an "ugly crying face".
